Although the 2004 meet couldn’t match the number of participants that took part 2003 (17) it was still a success with 14 planes and helicopters on location. The organization team seems to have established this event firmly and so the seaplanes and its enthusiast have found a platform in Germany that is unmatched. It again took place in association with the Hanse Sail that guarantees a lot of spectators throughout the weekend. Sightseeing trips with those seaplanes are very often sold out well in advance of the show. On Thursday and Friday the MFG2 in Eggebek made a fly-by with a 4-ship Tornado IDS. The very good weather contributed to the success of the meet and several hundreds movements were counted during the four days.
