11 Flottille
11 Flottille is the ‘Tiger’ unit of the French Navy, present at nearly every Tiger Meet in Europe. During the short trip there were 3 newcomers in the 11 Flottille who did their carrier qualifications. If they were successful after the week, they would become member of 11 Flotille. (As I left before the week was over, I do not know if they succeeded). 11 Flottille has 2 exchange pilots; 1 pilot is a former US Navy F-14 Tomcat pilot and 1 pilot normally flies the French Air Force Mirage F1 at Colmar.
For a group photo all onboard pilots of 11F climbed onto the fuselage and wings of a Super Etendard. Due to personal security, it was not allowed to make (and publish) photos of recognizable pilots, so this group photo may never be published.
